Melissa comes to us with over a decade of project management experience. She has worked with clients and projects running the gamut from start-up to Fortune 500. She began as one of the founding team members of the Implementation team at Digex, a leading Web Hosting company. This team eventually grew to be over 20 members.
From Digex she moved on to Thomson Prometric where she served as Project Manager for the Global Mobile Testing teams as they delivered temporary testing environments in Latin America, Asia, and EMEA.
After three years of seeing the world she was ready for a change and since early 2005 she has been working with iSky, Inc. as a member of their IT Project Management group. With an almost total offshore presence for technical development at iSky, Melissa has specialized in management of remote resources, as-built documentation of legacy programs for new resource groups, and transfer of domain knowledge across virtual teams.
She is excited with being the Senior Web Sherpa at FVI. Too often when working in IT project management, there is "never time to do it right but always time to do it over." As a Web Sherpa, Melissa sees an opportunity to work with the team and with the clients to "do it right" the first time. Clients deserve workable, scalable, WOW-inspiring solutions that meet and exceed their true business needs. She is looking forward to indulging a real passion for finding the right resources, creating the right vision with our clients, and then building that vision from the ground up.
